Family, parenting and homosexuality

The recent transformations of the family still generate strong resistance linked to the interweaving of the di-mensions of male and female, biological and social. As part of the current debate on these issues, the research-intervention project promoted by the Centro di Ateneo SInAPSi of Federico II investigates social representations of homogeneity in the Italian context and their impact on the socio-cultural fabric, to implement interventions in school contexts aimed at promoting a culture of respect and recognition of different family realities.

The implementation phases are: literature analysis; online exploratory survey (195 subjects); press analysis; focus groups with students, teachers, parents and social workers working with families; meetings with rainbow families; in-tervents in elementary school; in-tervents in elementary school; evaluation of the effectiveness of the intervention.
